Ministry Training opportunities

The following services are a range of options for those who want to further develop their ministry skills. These are not set in concrete. With due consultation a training process can be designed to suit the needs of any particular group. 

Client Clinics:  Professional

Hearing an explanation of how to lead a client through a healing process is a poor substitute for seeing it done. These clinics are an opportunity for professionals learning how to incorporate spiritual interventions into their work to observe a client being led through processes of healing and strengthening. The focus is on utilizing the spiritual and neurological resources the client all ready has and developing these further. It is a chance for one on one tuition in this science and art whilst at the same time an opportunity for your client to get more healing. Time is devoted to debriefing the session with the practitioner to consolidate learning around the approaches used.

After care remains the responsibility of the professional who brings the client.

Fees: Generally the client pays their normal fee and the professional pays the difference. $120 per hour, ie $180 for 1 1/2 hours. $240 for 2hrs. This fee is a 100% tax deductable business expense for practitioners.

 Client Clinic:   Pastoral

The one on one clinic model is ideally suited to church situations. Typically this is a situation in which Church leadership wants to support a person to receive healing but does not have the resources(time/expertise), or deem appropriate to do it themselves. Rather than send the person off for counselling(and perhaps subsidize it) they pair up the person in need with a mature member of the church who has a heart for supporting those pursuing healing and growth, someone who is already showing substantial growth as an intercessor/healer. This person takes on a role of support and in effect also becomes a "trainee". This situation has many benefits. Firstly, the 'client' has the support of a mature Christian to come along side them in their journey of growth and healing. Secondly, the client receives healing ministry. Thirdly, through the experience the mature Christian/ trainee learns more about healing processes and becomes more proficient at both supporting people through a healing journey and more able to facilitate this. The offshoot is that the church becomes a healthier and more resourceful place, more able to do what the spiritually mature are expected to.

Costs are shared between the person receiving ministry, the church (or trainee) and/ or any donor/sponsor  who wishes to support the healing and/or training financially.

Growth and Healing groups:

Group Clinic

This is a training clinic in a small group of those who are committed to growth and becoming more proficient healers. It requires a reasonable level of maturity to be part of this group. Ministry is demonstrated on a volunteer then ample time is allowed to debrief what happened and what didn't to make the most of the session as a learning experience. The person who receives ministry will be either one of the group or someone connected to and implicitly supported by a member or members of the group. A clear contract is set up whereby the ministry that takes place is understood to be for the purpose of group learning. Given the complexity of such a situation it is not suited to those who are still very fragile (unless they have a long term stable relationship with the group). Aftercare cannot be offered except by those already connected to the person receiving ministry and an aftercare contact is set up clearly showing who the client will see for aftercare if they should need it. The primary focus of the group is on learning and developing ministry skills.

The group contracts to meet for a set amount of times and is normally a closed one in that once it has begun no new members will be admitted.

A variation of this dynamic is that one member of the group ministers to another receiving assistance and feedback as required. Ongoing formed groups of this nature can employ my services on an occassional basis.

Fees:$120-$200/hour depending on size of group and cost of venue.

Mentoring groups

These groups are for those who are already doing successful ministry yet want a forum to debrief, get peer support and learn other approaches.

Workshops

Building Capacity 1:    Utilizing and developing Neurological and Spiritual Resources

This workshop teaches how to put in place all the safety measures appropriate before doing deep emotional and spiritual work. Participants will see these skills modelled and have a chance to practice them. Content includes beginning to learn what Dr Karl Lehman calls the Immanuel approach. This involves taking clients through the steps of learning to perceive God's presence and staying connected throughout ministry. It also introduces and participants to practice a very simple and effective model of deliverance based on clarifying the clients wishes and desires.

Building Capacity 2 :   Removing Generational Influences

This workshop builds on the first. It explores generational iniquity and teaches a number of ways to go about removing its effects. It also explores releasing generational blessing. This will be practised in the group.

FOCUSSED GROUP CLINIC:

 Rapid Inner Healing/Generational Deliverance/Blessing the Spirit

This is an advanced small group training clinic. Participants will hone their discernment and skills in doing generational deliverance, healing prenatal and early childhood wounds, blessing the spirit and releasing generational blessings. The link between generational influences, prenatal/childhood wounding and current sickness will also be explored. Each member will be ministered to, take turns in leading the ministry, learn to use their gifting to contribute in a group setting and get constructive feedback. This is an opportunity for participants to consolidate their approach to ministry and develop and appreciate their own gifting. We expect God to teach us new things and take our ministry to another level in this group. 

EXPERIMENTAL WORKSHOP: HEALING THE GROUND OF AUTISM

Autism spectrum disorder is a classic condition in that it stems from various gene deficits coupled with environmental insults. Although many of these assaults are chemical some can be emotional or spiritual. The idea behind this workshop is that if the emotional and spiritual factors contributing to stopping the body from recovering from autism can be dealt with the sufferer is in a better position to respond to other interventions including healing prayer. This workshop is the same as the Rapid Inner Healing/Generational Deliverance/Blessing the Spirit Clinic above except that the focus is praying for the parent of an autistic child and for the child - however initially, not with the child present. Parents in fact need to learn how to bless the spirit of their children. As mentioned this is experimental, however evidence is suggesting that this approach may make a significant difference in undermining that condition. This is by arrangement only so if you are interested contact me and we can talk about expectations etc.

Other Healing Seminars from introductory to advanced can be arranged to suit particular group needs, size and levels of experience.
