Why Wellness Network?

Life Wellness Network continues to evolve from the activities and contacts of Michael and Yumi Schaefer. Our practice is based on the Sunshine Coast, Australia.

Michael is a counsellor and psychotherapist who uses and teaches approaches that change the brain/body, mind and spirit. He is a specialist in emotional healing, respectfully unlocking and utilizing clients' spiritual resources in the process. He prefers to work as part of a multidisciplinary team. Besides working with individuals and couples he loves training groups. He covers both psycho and spiritual education and trains groups how to use this knowledge to bring healing to others.

Yumi is a dance therapist,  Pilates instructor,  fitness instructor, and Wellness Lifestyle Coach. Her regular work includes: teaching Pilates and Fitness to general public; doing dance therapy with people with special needs; running Wellness Lifestyle and Stress Management workshops and seminars to carers' groups and social welfare organizations.

She is also a very happy mum. Her greatest gift is bringing joy to people. She uses the above modalities to encourage and strengthen people and to bring about increased health and wellness in body, mind and spirit.

The mission of Life Wellness Network is to educate people about interventions and practises that contribute to wellness across the spirit-soul-body continuum and connect people to safe practitioners. 

The services we offer are: Emotional and Spiritual Healing, Training in Emotional & Spiritual Healing,  Wellness and Health Education, Stress Management Courses, Dance-Movement Therapy, Pilates, Wellness Lifestyle Consultations for both individuals and groups.   For more information and arrangement for workshops and programs,  please contact us.
